As we roll into spring of this year, PS5 restocks remain a rare beast. If you're one of the hopeful gamers looking to bag one of the elusive consoles, you'll need to know where they'll be and when. That's why we've put together this regularly updated guide. This week, it looks like Walmart will be the only retailer with a PS5 restock online, which it's confirmed for 12pm Eastern Time on Thursday (February 24). You'll need to be quick. The last restocks in the US have sold out in hours.

In the UK, there was a spate of PS5 restocks last week at Game, Curry and Very, but they all went fast. Unfortunately, distribution issues, bots and the global chip shortage continue to hold up production of Sony's in-demand console, but we'll be keeping you posted on the latest PS5 restock news in our guide below.

Scroll down for links to all the major retailers that have seen restocks in the past and are most likely to get them again, together with the dates of the last restock we saw there. PS5 or PS5 Digital Edition?

It's been more than seven years since the last PlayStation console, the PS4, and the world has been eagerly awaiting a more advanced model. And that's exactly what Sony has delivered. The PS5 offers a huge leap in gaming, and there are a lot of amazing games for the platform.

But should you buy the standard or digital edition? There are pros and cons for the latter. On the plus side, you save a cool $100/£100 and you don't need to get the physical games (instead you download them digitally). On the other hand, some people love the physical games, and they do retain a certain value, meaning you can sell them on later. At the end of the day, it's a matter of personal preference. In all other respects, you're getting the same amazing console with both editions.
